Firm and salty, traditional style goats feta which can be crumbled easily. It has a clean taste with the aroma of ripe yoghurt notes of citrus. This cheese is perfect for your salads, pizzas, appetizing snacks or marinated in lemon and oil. Bronze medal at the 2016 NZ Cheese Awards. Made by Simon & Hellene Lamb at the base of the Kenepuru Sound with goats milk exclusively sourced from the neighbouring farm.
Storing this cheese: Once opened place in an air tight container with water and salt ( this creates it own brine and will last for a couple of weeks open.
